Today was a busy day visiting and doing some sightseeing,
but the highlight of the day was visiting a congregation at an outlying suburb
of Hyderabad called Saroornagar. Today was the 5th anniversary of the church
building. The preacher, brother V.J. Wilson had baptized over 500 new brothers
and sisters in Christ during that time, about one soul every three days for five years. Today was no exception with a picture below of our new sister
in Christ being baptized. We celebrated the event with fellowship and an
opportunity for Jerris and I to preach to a humble but very crowded church. These brothers and
sisters come any day of the week and in some cases from long distances to hear the gospel preached. It was my first
experience preaching to Indian brethren with an interpreter, and hard following
in the shadow of Jerris, but it all seemed to go well. As we were leaving, so many wanted to shake
your hand and ask for prayers for their kids, their health and their family.
One elderly sister held my hand and was trying in her best English to ask me pray for her
health in tears, and very emotional for me. It is yet
another congregation we won't soon forget in our prayers. Tomorrow we are off to Bhopal to visit the
Saints there, and will stay to participate in Sunday worship services.
Sharing the gospel with intent to teach, to seek and save the lost. (Luke 19:10)

Hyderabad India
We made is safely and comfortably to Hyderabad India. We arrived early, got to our hotel and enjoyed a breakfast with our mission sponsors Jerris and Juanita Bullard and some of the brethren from all around the area. After a much needed jet lab power nap, we joined with brothers and sisters in Christ for a short service and worship program and a very warm welcome, as you can see by the pictures. And yes, that is our picture on the sign behind us; the welcome and attention was overwhelming. Everyone wanted to meet us and honor us with garlands. The picture of the parents with their child, actually asked Jerris to name their son...which he did, and we welcomed Barnabas!
Tomorrow we go to visit the church building and engage in teaching and preaching with the Saints there and hopefully some from the surrounding area.
